Inspired by a photograph by Erwin Olaf, I loved the colors, tones and mood of this photo. It felt very beautiful, but very still, alone and a bit eerie.
I have changed the girl's face to match the mood I wanted. She represents how I feel at times when I realize all that I am responsible for but am nervous about my capabilities to provide. Particularly in relation to parenting or in times of financial stress. It looks like she has just left a room or a party where she has put on a happy show and only she knows how fearful and concerned she is. |
